What Fintrovert is
Fintrovert is a personal finance site for people who would rather read something clear and calm than be sold to. We write about taxes, retirement, saving, credit and investing, and we build simple calculators that show their working.
Fintrovert is run by the Fintrovert Team, a small group who think money gets explained badly far too often. We started the site to write the guides we wished we had found ourselves: clear, sourced, and free of sales pitches.
What you will find here
- Plain-language guides to how US taxes, retirement accounts, credit and investing work.
- Free calculators that run in your browser and cite official sources for every government figure.
- Older articles on Indian markets and some posts in Hindi from the site’s earlier years. They stay online; check their dates, since rules and figures may have changed.
What we are not
We are not a bank, broker, tax preparer or investment adviser, and nothing here is personal advice. We do not know your full situation, so treat what you read as a starting point and check the details with the official source or a qualified professional before you act.
How we stay independent
See our Editorial Policy for how we research, source and correct articles, and our Disclosures for how the site makes money.
