Though Digital Banking is being prefered nowadays, there might come a time when we have to go to a bank to deposit cash/cheque into our account.
And… some of us are unaware about the way to fill the deposit slip of the bank.
So here we explain about it.
Deposited in Branch:
Address/Area of the Branch in which you are depositing the cash/cheque
e.g. Gokul Colony, Bangalore

Full Name and Account No.:
Name and Account Number of the person in whose account money is to be deposited

Date on which money is being deposited

Type of Account:
Savings Account (SB) or Current Account etc.

Cheque Deposit:
Fill this section only if you are depositing a cheque

Total Amount (in words):

PAN (if cash deposits Rs.50,000/- and above):
PAN Number of the Account Holder (person in whose account cash is to be deposited)
Signature of Depositor:
Signature of the person who is depositing cheque/cash (can be a person other than the account holder)
That’s All ! This much basic knowledge is sufficient to fill a deposit slip in a bank.
